History
Plumstead, Cape Town 1814
Welcome to Meyerhof Accommodation – a Cape Dutch farmhouse dating to 1814, lovingly owned since 1998. We’re a family-run guesthouse with eight unique self-catering spaces, designed for privacy, comfort and a sense of home.
The Property
Meandering paths, vibrant flower beds and shady trees frame terraces, gazebos and courtyards. You’ll find two swimming pools, outdoor dining areas, and several braai spots. Inside, each unit has its own character – from thatched ceilings and fireplaces to private patios and kitchenettes.
How we host
We’re on hand to help with local tips and logistics and just as happy to give you complete privacy. Expect fast responses, seamless arrivals (including after-hours by prior arrangement), and thoughtful touches throughout.

Roy, Ally & Team
Meyerhof is more than a beautiful old farmhouse; it’s Roy’s long-standing personal project – a labour of care that he’s shaped over the years – with Ally joining him at his side, managing administration and marketing with her expertise in those fields.
Born and raised in Cape Town, Roy knows the city’s secrets – quiet breakfast spots, the best Constantia tastings, tide-pool times, and scenic shortcuts. The staff love connecting with guests, but their golden rule is privacy first: present when you need them, invisible when you don’t.
A close-knit staff team of four keeps the gardens groomed, the rooms immaculate, and the little details just right. Whether you’re planning a wine-route wander, a mountain morning, or a lazy braai under the trees, Roy and Ally are delighted to guide, arrange, and welcome you “home” to Meyerhof.

We Have Vacancy!
Wake to birdsong, wander cobbled courtyards under the thatch, and watch the light fade across our old oaks. Two pools and multiple braai areas invite slow evenings outdoors.
