Built in 1814 and lovingly cared for & shaped since 1998, Meyerhof is more than a guesthouse, it’s a passion brought to life. Here, eight individually designed self-catering apartments blend history, comfort and heartfelt hospitality, offering every guest a true sense of home.

Meyerhof is a story of heart, heritage and hospitality. Lovingly restored and nurtured over the years, it stands as Roy’s personal labour of care, a space where every corner reflects dedication and a genuine love for hosting. Born and raised in Cape Town, Roy carries the city in his heart and knows its hidden gems – from tucked-away breakfast cafés to Constantia wine tastings and scenic backroad escapes. Together with his close-knit team of four, they keep the gardens lush, the rooms inviting and the atmosphere effortlessly calm. At Meyerhof, guests are treated like family and cared for with genuine warmth, yet given the privacy to simply be. Whether it’s a morning hike on the nearby mountain trails, a wine route wander, or a relaxing sunset BBQ by the pool, Roy and his team are always ready to welcome you home.
